    Hey guys,

I searched for this on the forum but nothing met my criteria. If anyone knows a link to where this has been discussed please forward it on. I don’t mean to be the annoying guy who asks a question for the 15th time only to discover the answer is right below me.

This is my problem. When I bring in a nice sharp looking graphic into FCP 6 and place it on my timeline and render it out there is a serious degradation in quality. I feel this is just some kind of a setting so if anyone knows please let me know I am on a serious time crunch.

    Thanks in advance,
    Sean

If you add a nice sharp 2000×1000 300DPI image to a DV project, it gets rendered out at DV resolution. 5:1 compression, 720×480 72dpi. If you were in a DVCPRO HD 1080i project, it would fare much better.
