I was filming an interview a week ago and I kept hearing a popping sound. What do you think caused this and how would I fix it?

Your lav mic is picking up breath blasts from the speakers mouth and nose because it’s placed too high on the shirt. Move the lav down about 4-5″ and turn it upside down so that any breath noises are eliminated.

Theyre plosives .
Izotope rx will get rid of those really easily and leave the desired audio in place

Usually it’s not a pooping sound — more likely a farting sound.
