Political Video Commentary Rights?
Does anyone have any insight or advice regarding what you can and can’t do when producing a video of political commentary? My understanding is that one is covered by the Fair Use act as long as you are not selling the video. Specifically, what rights, if any, do you have in using video from other sources like YouTube, C-Span, and so forth?
An example would be the latest video by NakedEmperorNews.com that plays Obama stating his desire for a single payer system and government take over of private health industry (Which of course he says was taken out of context.)
Thanks
