Relatively new to AE and I’m hoping someone can tell me why I have a gap between my points and my light. View the gfycat here.

My order of operations: Track motion, Target Null, Convert Null to Light using Null Swapper, apply Plexus 2.

is the solid you’re applying plexus the same size of your composition? Is plexus set to use the comp camera?

    Hi Cassius,

Thanks for your help! Yes, the comp is 1280 x 720 and the Z coordinates for the lights are all set to zero.

How do I set Plexus to use the comp camera?

Here is my current set up:

It should be matched right, unless you changed any world coordinates in the plexus settings. Or your grey solid is not 720p.

Try to create a default 35mm camera.

can you upload the project? It would be easier. You may want to remove the footage to make it small.

OK, I will try that. In the meantime, here is the project file with no footage:

I added a camera but had to set the focal length to 5000 in order for the points to reach my lights. Does this make sense? None of the other resources have implied this would be necessary when using Plexus with otherwise straight forward content.

Sorry for the delay, had to go home.

well I think it is something I hadn’t considered. A bug.

Since it opens fine for me. So I advise you to check for updates.
