    I have always wanted to know how do some really cool point tracking like the examples I have linked to below.

    I am very familiar with the point tracking system in After Effects, but I have never looked into how to create the lines between the tracking points that move and resize along with them.

    I could do this manually, but that would take forever. There has got to be a better way to accomplish it, wether it be with a plug-in or some feature in AE that I am just not aware of.

    Anyways, take a look at the examples below and see if you kind people can help to nudge me in the right direction.

    You can link the starting and ending points on the Beam effect [link] to your trackers.

    That’s part of the fun of After Effects — there are often so many different ways to do the same thing. The hardest part is usually just figuring out the easiest way to accomplish something.
