  • Point me towards a tute for Motion or After Effects

    Greetings,

Could someone please point me towards a tutorial for either Motion or After Effects on how to do the “Star Wars” scrolling type effect. I know I’ve seen this before somewhere, but can’t remember where.

    Thanks very much,

    mdr,

Thanks. I actually did a google search but wasn’t able to find what I was looking for. Also searched through the forums here and 2-pop, again with the same results.

You and the other fellow just assumed I didn’t bother to look. I did, but apparently the “Star Wars scrolling text effect” was not the correct search term. Apologies.

A small number of folks are quick to put-down here and on other forums. Really, the time it takes to sling such remarks could be more productively used.

I hope one day to reach a level of proficiency that won’t necessitate my posting such mundane requests for help here on the experts forum.

    Thanks again,

    Brad,

Don’t take it personally. Star Wars scrolling text and light saber techniques are probably the most requested tutorials motion graphics, and they’ve been asked and answered so many times over the years that many of us have a knee-jerk reaction to the query that is less than encouraging.
