I’ve just bought PI SE and this is my first project.

I’ve done a very simple sequence, which looks fine when I preview.

However, when I export as PNG frames with alpha, the particle sequence looks much smaller, and has moved from bottom centre to bottom left corner.

    Stage size is 1920 x 1080.

I’m doing something wrong …. but what?

    Thanks for any help.

Update – I have discovered that I was only looking at part of the frame – right clicking on the stage and selecting Zoom to Fit changed everything.

Now I have to find how to resize the effect – love this program – I think I’m going to upgrade to the full version so I can utilize the new tutorial that’s out ..

Unless your desktop resolution is larger than 1920×1080, you won’t be able to get 1920×1080 output from SE. It requires a visible window to render in.

particleIllusion 3.0 won’t have that problem since it includes the standalone renderer which can handle larger sizes (and is used automatically when needed).
