PNG is rendering poorly Bad TV lines-AVI also
I have used PI3 many times. have rendered using PNG alpha with BG removed.
never had an issue with any images- used in Sony and AE with
good results for couple of years. just a few weeks ago it was fine.All of a sudden, any PNG seq. is rendering out very poorly
I get faded lines,bars almost like a bad TV effect.
I also got PI plug in for AE- if I use it in AE it looks fine,
but using PI3 alone is more versatile than plug in so I use it to
edit,change emitters-have looked thru many many past posts and cant find the answer.
Some help please…have tried every codec and avi files do it too.
okay this is getting weird.
I have rendered a single frame (same frame 3x) get a different hue on each, and on 2 I get full view render, and 1 I get the PI renderer. all PNG save alpha no Black BG and no BG at all.??

Does JPG work?
Try using “run with software rendering” in the Start menu. If that works, then it’s a video driver issue.

okay jpg looks fine
did some things -am not sure what, but it has improved slightly,
instead of contrast lines, it is more pixelated.Should not be any comp problems- I just got it back from PC shop 2 weeks ago.
Start menu? run with software rendering. where is this? << see dont show warning for software rendering in preferences. but no use software rendering. I reset to defaults- seems to have helped.still not High quality but much better than it was.is not Bad TV now 🙂 still would like to know where this use software rendering is. have looked thru app menus,open GL,pref, proj settings etc. thanks Randal R
