    PNG Animated Cursor Overexposure

    HI

    Relatively new to using PI and am experimenting with creating animated cursors (CursorFx).

    The PNG is made in Photoshop, effects added in PI and exported into CursorFx for (Busy and working in background states).

    My problem is that the animated sequence seriously overexposes the cursor.

    In PI, the emitter effect looks great.

    Only after applying the cursorin Cursor FX, the animation removes the detail and color from the cursor image.

    I have tried using separate layers (under and on top of PNG) and niether works well.

    Any help is appreciated.

    This isn’t a particleIllusion issue.

    Is CursorFX converting it to 256 colors or something? Does the rendered output of particleIllusion look OK? If so, then maybe convert the pI output into 256-color using a different application first.

    Thanks for the reply.

    In PI, I am just saving the animation as a PNG, Save Alpha, Remove Black.
    Have tried saving the PNG as 256, 24 and 8 bit with the same results.

    The two center images are obviously the working-animated states.
