  PMW F-3 Firmware path

  This is probably for Ian if he knows the answer…
  I understand that the firmware upgrade for the F-3 to use it to it’s full potential will be a purchased item. Is there also a free firmware upgrade path planned?
  If you follow the purchased upgrade path is every other upgrade a purchased item or are they free from then on?
  Has this path been explained anywhere?

  I’m not complaining…I think this camera at it’s price-point even with the added upgrade cost is amazing…I’d like to be able to plan and budget for it’s future use.
