  PMW-Ex30 with Convergent Design MI Converter

  Good morning,

  Have an idea for trying to use our EX3’s in an online editing environment for sports satellite feeds. We would like to shoot press conferences with the EX3’s, giving us HD footage for later use. But by using the PMW-EX30’s and the Convergent Design HD-Connect MI Converter, we hope to connect the EX30 to our Sony Edit system for online editing to beta or dvcam.

  Anyone trying such a configuration? Essentially using the CDHD Connect MI Converter to the time code, allowing the editor to control the EX30?
