PMW-EX3 Firmware 1.15 upgrade Windows Only?

Latest Firmware for the EX3 is 1.5, I believe. I am told that it will now be upgradable via memory card.

No. It’s 1.15. Why speculate when it’s so easy to check before you post? Besides, I didn’t ask what the latest firmware version is since I already knew. I asked why the updater for the 1.15 version is Windows only.

Can you define “shortly”? 😉

Is there any reason the VersionUpTool for the 1.10 version can’t be used to apply the 1.15 version? Putting on my thirty-years-of-software-engineering hat, I could speculate that the 1.10 VersionUpTool could be used, either as-is if it prompts you to select the firmware binary file to use, or by first renaming the 1.15 firmware binary file to the same name as the 1.10 firmware binary file.
