  • Pluraleyes 1.2 “use markers” question

Posted by Michael West on March 3, 2013 at 9:41 pm

I am using Pluraleyes 1.2 with Final Cut Pro 7.
A film maker sent me files in H.264 codec (shot with a DSLR) to edit.
This is the first time I’ve worked with this type of fileand this sort of “scattered” footage.
(Up to this point, Pluraleyes has worked beautifully for 3-camers footage I shot on a Canon HG20)
    The issue:
I set markers based on the clapboard “beep”, set Pluraleyes to “use markers”, and started it.
    It came out “unsynced”.
Will I need to transcode to ProRes 422 for Pluraleyes to work, or am I just doing something wrong?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
    Michael
