I am looking for plug-in directory advice.

I am using the new Studio 8 and Adobe CS 2 with AE 6.5 and Premier 1.5. I also have a Mac next to me that has the Studio 1 suite

Premiere plug-ins have .prm extension, although some After Effects plug-ins have a .aex extension and can be used by Premiere as well. Photoshop plug-ins use a .8bf extension. These files are installed in the designated “Plug-in” folder when installing the plug-in in the OS. The individual files can be kinda shared by copy/ pasting from AE to Premiere and from PS to Premiere, although most wont work, but little harm done if you keep track of what you are doing and can undo.

Fonts are a mystery to me, except that copy/pasting fonts between the various font folders on the system can produce some bad results.

Thank you very much Mike, It was one of those moments where I read something and it started a little thread of ideas in my mind that three generations later looked like a nuclear reaction…

I will respond back if my other posts have any different concusions on fonts/plug-in’s
