Plugins
My company is looking to get some plug ins for FCP.
We have 6 Final Cut station, 3 of which are edit suites, the other 3 are or digizing and support tasks.
My question is..
“Are most plugins a 1 licsence 1 machine thing or can we buy 1 set and place them on all the systems?

most are 1 license per seat

I would check with the vendors to see what kind of multi-seat deal you can negotiate.

Yeup,
but won’t work for some plugins.
Volumetrix & every other FxFactory plugin ‘sniffs’ the network to look for other installs

That would be a violation of copyright. Many plugin vendors are small mom & pop style operations. I suspect some of them would be willing to cut a site licensing deal if you approached them properly.
