plugins
morning!
I am having trouble getting various plugins to install. Its not the zipped or rar files but getting them to actually show up in my plugins menu. Most sites say “just unzip it right into your plugins folder”, however this does not work in some cases. About half I am finding.
Does anyone know something I do not? Are there comprehensive tutorials for this? What are various other procedures for getting plugins active?
I find this quite frustrating at times as there are some really neat plugins that I cant seem to get to work…like – rock generator – I’ve tried it several times and with no success.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Most should work fine in the plugins folder. Others are special cases, e.g. some are shader plugins that only appear in material options, others are Python plugins that show up in the Python menu. Of course they won’t show up if they aren’t supported in your version of Cinema or you don’t have registration numbers.
