    Hi all,

I know I’m probably asking too much, but if anyone knows if there is a plugin for this wipe/transition/look I’d be forever grateful. I’m too much of a beginner in AE to be able to create it from scratch. It starts just before :19 in.

Don’t need the lens flares. I just like the look as a place to put titles and transition from one scene to the next. I think it’s really elegant and pretty, but I have no clue how to make something similar!

I’ll cross my fingers someone can help me but won’t get my hopes up! Thanks all,

    – Jesse

    Make a solid.
    Apply gradient ramp.
    Apply fractal noise.
Adjust fractal noise so that it blends with the gradient.
    Apply Mosaic.
Precompose that solid, moving all attributes into the comp.
Use that comp as a luma matte for a light grey solid layer.
Tweak the levels/curves as appropriate on the precomp.

That should give you an idea. You can do all kinds of things to cause that animation in the precomp.
