what do you need to do? hard to recommend anything if we don’t know what you’re trying to do.
my recommendation for any editor is the Boris Continuum Complete package as it has a bit of everything.

Yes, but if we know more about what he wants to do, we can recommend more specific plugs for the tasks. BCC is a fairly expensive set and if he only wants to do film looks for example, Nattress makes a much less expensive and very very good film filter.

another question…
when u work with a “field” clip, in FCP and u have to slow motion, u just change the speed? or u add a filter like “deinterlace”?
