I have some footage shot on a pal dvcam tape and I would like to mix it in with some mini dv ntsc footage on Premiere 1.0 timeline. Rather than taking it to a conversion house, is there softward/ plug in that will allow me to mix the PAL footage on the timeline with NTSC stuff? Without loosing any quality too? Thanks.

You don’t need a plug-in to put NTSC and PAL on the same timeline. What you’re facing here is the simple fact that the PAL footage will need to be converted. Premiere’s not going to do a great job of it, so you’re going to want to convert it before putting it in the timeline. Canopus Procoder is what I usually hear recommended (but I have need of it myself), but other folks may have other suggestions.
