    Hi guys,

I found this nifty ‘background’ transition in a nike commercial:

    Plexus transition

It’s quite obvious that this is made with the Plexus plugin. So I’m fooling around with this plugin and watching the tutorials but just can’t get the hang of it. Could someone give me some pointers?

    Thanks in advance

Though I guess it can be done with plexus I’m betting that was made with mir, from trapcode. I did something pretty close to that last month.

Looks like a bit of noise on the geometry he’s loaded in there or created from masks and opacity/noise/distance keyframing to animate the shapes to full opacity and appear random. I highly suggest going to the AEscripts page for plexus and watch each tutorial on there. I did, and it helped immensely to understand how to get things working in there. After that, it’s a lot of playing around to make cool stuff.
