February 16, 2014 at 6:53 amPremiere has got a better connection options than Vegas yes, but if
you are familiar working in Vegas, then you wouldnt go through the
stress of learning another editing software, plus finding out that
Vegas is a bit more fluid and faster than Premiere.Steve Rhoden

February 20, 2014 at 9:55 amI often have Premiere installed alongside Vegas, and there’s never
a need to open it. But one thing we cant do without is Photoshop
and After Effects.Steve Rhoden

On the PC I use Boris RED instead of After Effects and it plugs right into Vegas Pro making it a better workflow than After Effects because there is no need to render ever. On the Mac there is Apple Motion instead of After Effects and Pixelmator instead of Photoshop.

February 21, 2014 at 10:54 pmYes, all that is fine John. But when you are in the heavy broadcasting
world as i am, working on numerous projects from clients, media houses,
and advertising firms, you have to have these two applications because
right around the clock you get AE project files, PSD files, AI files
as sources for creating media content. In this field there is no
tip toeing around it, you need them to stay current, maintain your
customer base and churning work out quickly, on time and compatibility
with what they use.Steve Rhoden
