okay, I have a client that records on a dvd recorder, the power went out for 1 second during live show. We rebooted everything and began recording again. The last file appears in DVD recorded list, the first (where the power went out) does not. Is there a utility I can use to recover it on mac? I did not finalize, for fear blocks would be marked blank. I need the first hour of this presentation. help! BTW, neither file shows up on mac…i remember being able see uninitialized files on my pc.i can finalize DVD if that is best. Help me Obi Wan, you are my only hope.

We’ve successfully used IsoBuster to recover files from DVD’s before, but I just noticed that they don’t have a Mac version. You might want to search for data recovery utilities for Mac. There are loads of them available for Windows, so there probably are for Macs as well.
