Please: More help with Pan/Crop or…?
Hi,
I’m working on creating a video of a photo album, made in 1919-1932. It has the story of an Air Force Pilot. Excellent pictures, followed by beautiful hand-written “descriptions” below each.
I have scanned the photos; and I have also scanned and cropped the “descriptions”. All jpg.
The photos will fit reasonably well in the normal 4:3 format of the Video. But I would dearly like to include the hand-written descriptions, at the bottom of the “safe area” where one would normally place “captions.”
The “descriptions”, as mentioned, are .jpg, whose size varies, but most are probably on a 4:1 ratio, that is four times as wide as high.
Placing the “descriptions” in a higher video track, they land right in the middle (on top of) the photos on the lower track. So you view a photo, and right in its middle, horizontally, is the “description” hiding the middle of the photo. I tried event pan/crop but can’t figure out how to move those thin strips of descriptions to the bottom of the safe area, on the combined preview.
Any suggestions would be most welcome!
John
