PLEASE major problem with sony nx100 black screen
Hi all;
I have a major problem with this camera, i searched the internet for days but no solution.
The camera have a sensor cover that won’t open at all, before i used to power it on and off till its open and use a light in front of the lens to make it work.

As you can see there is a cover behind the lens its closed all the time and wont open.
Please help i live in africa Morocco it was so hard for me to get this camera and now am stuck with nothing 1600 dollars is a luxury here.

It looks like to me that there is a problem with the iris not opening up. The first thing I would try is to reset the camera. Also make sure you check all of your settings. If it still does not work then there is definitely something wrong and my guess without looking at it would be the lens. Iris problems are rare. Most of the time we see iris problems if the user had been filming the sun. Good luck to you.
