An image sequence is just a series of images, named sequentially, that contains all the frames of the video. They’d be named something like fridge_0001.png, fridge_0002.png, etc. Most editing and compositing programs have the option to save out a sequence instead of an AVI or Quicktime clip. When bringing them into particleIllusion, just select one image, and it will detect the sequence when you hit Ok.

okay so I know to sequence you do []0001.png []0002.png []0003.png etc
but how do you do more than 6 cause when i do it, it only recognizes the first 6.I’m pretty sure you can cause they have some emitters where it sequences numbers from 0-9,so if its is possible how do you do it?Thanks

Are you talking about saving (rendering) an image sequence, or using an image sequence for a particle image or layer background image? If you have it named with leading zeros like you do, it should work fine.

I don’t know what you mean by “recognizes the first 6”. Please be more specific.

I mean for changing shape for a particle, because I made around 15 pngs titled []0001.png []0002.png etc but it only lets me use the very first 6 of the 15 I selected and ignores the other 9 or so,excluding them from the sequence

Rename the files so they start with letters: “a0001.png”, “a0002.png”, etc.
