Hello, I am getting ..\..\src\sequence\linkcontainer.cpp-230 error while adding movement to one clip with a freeze frame on the tail end. thought it might be a bad source file but I did a test using another file in the same sequence. Also to rule out a corrupt project file I have tried backtracking through previous saves and everything still results in this error. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Solutions? I would appreciate any ideas? Thanks.

    System specs:
HP xw 4600 with quad processors and 4GB of ram and a quadro FX 1500.

Did you try rendering the clip with a freeze frame and then reimport it into your timeline? Possible workaround at worst.

Another possible work around is to put the clip with the frame hold into its own sequence then nest that sequence in the main sequence and apply movement to the nested sequence.

If you want to troubleshoot the original problem, can you reproduce it in a new project?

    Cheers

Thank you for the workaround ideas. I can’t seem to reproduce the problem in another sequence. I think that the workaround will have to be used. Earlier tonight I started getting the same error while doing simple edits (in the same project).
Could this be related to using m2t files instead of transcoding?

[Jake Williams] “Could this be related to using m2t files instead of transcoding?”

That’s entirely possible. MPEG files use a compression scheme that makes life very difficult for any real-time NLE.

    Cheers
