Please Help! Question about how the timeline appears-
I want to see all my tracks (vertically) in the timeline without scrolling up and down.
There are 2 slighty darker gray bars above the video timeline that seem to have no purpose (if they do I can’t figure it out). These 2 gray bars seem to be taking up valuable monitor space and preventing me from being able to see all of my tracks.
Is it possible to shrink them, move them or hide them ect…?I’m currently working on a project with got 2 video tracks and 2 audio tracks and I’d like to be able to SEE them all at once (4 tracks total). I would like the track height to be at MEDIUM so I can see.
Is this possible? I’ve gone through the manual, I’ve searched the help menu and have asked around… nobody seems to know?

How big is your monitor? What resolution is it set at? You should have no problem adjusting the windows to see 4 tracks.
Look at the top of the timeline where it says “Timeline: (Name of Project)” Put your cursor right above that until it turns into an icon with an up and a down arrow. Click there and drag your timeline up.
Over on the left of the timeline where it says “V1” and “V2” you can grab the thin grey lines between those boxes and change the size of the tracks themselves too.
After you’ve changed everything you can go to the menu WINDOW>ARRANGE and save the layout. In fact, before you try anything, go to that menu and select “Large Timeline” and see if that gives you what you want.

In the bottom left corner of the timeline are some teenie buttons, one of them looks like a mountain, the next one looks like a row of buildings. One of them looks like two parrallel lines. The one with the parrellel lines is “Toggle clip keyframes”. Try turning that on and off and see if, perhaps, that makes your extra grey lines go away.
