    My project:
    720p 23.98 DVCPRO HD
    (aja kona output 720p 59.94/ 720p 60 I tried all setups)

    My Machine:
Dual 2 Ghz power PC G5
    4.5 GB DDR2 SDRAM
Aja Kona LHe (control panel driver 3.3)

Sorry to disturb you guys but i’m really desperate. Final Cut Still Crashing when using CF plugin 2.1.4/2.1.5.

I’m doing Color correction in a 2,5 hour movie! Using CF on every cut!
I Spent the last 3 weeks doing it!
The deadline it’s in a few days now..

    So PLEASE HELP!

I spent the last 3 days reinstalling all the versions of final cut pro (5.0.4 / 5.1.2 – even clean installation) with all version of CF (2.1.4/2.1.4 universal/2.1.5) combined! plus 2 versions of Kona Control Panel, combined.
I tried even many combinations of sequence/ kona easy setups..

I don’t know what else I should do?

I will try to downgrade fcp it again to fcp 5.0.4..

    Thanks in advance.

Did you try Color Finesse without installing the AJA Kona drivers? There is an Uninstaller in the AJA Kona Utilities folder. If Color Finesse still crashes, then you’ll need to contact the manufacturer of the software for advice.

I have had the same problem. 2.5Ghz dp FCP 5.1.2. No luck. If you find the answer, please post.

The best I could do was to get about 3/4 of the way through the project before it simply would not stay stable.

the only solution it’s to avoid the copy and paste attributes.
You should save and load inside color finesse interface..

it slow down the process but it works..

    cheers
