PLEASE HELP – DVD Chapter Problem
I’ve tried unsucessfully to make an DVD with chapter points from Avid Media Composer Adrenaline. I was told to
1)Export the sequence as a Quicktime Reference.
2)Close the MC app then open Avid DVD by Sonic.
3)Add the movie(s).
4)Choose the aspect ratio.
5)Save the project.
6)Burn the DVD.I did that but I have four sequences that need chapter points on the DVD, so added the four sequences and followed the rest of the steps. THE PROBLEM: The video in second of the four sequences freezes 10 seconds before the end but all other segments are fine (audio is fine too). I checked and re-checked my sequences – no problem there. I even tried doing a video mixdown before bring it into Avid DVD – but still no luck. I tried burning to DVD Volume but no luck there. So I asked a co-worker and they suggested using the “Send to” command to send it “DVD One Step” which works except I can’t figure out how to put chapter points on the DVD using this method. So I’m out of ideas; any thoughts (or luck) would be greatly appreciated. My deadline is a few short hours away. Thanks

Probably too late now – but I would suggest exporting full QT files, not QT reference files. That most likely would resolve the problem, I would think.
