PLEASE has anyone got the final cut pro 5.1.4 update? PLEASE HELP
IF ANYONE HAS THIS UPDATE ON THEIR COMPUTER please help me. Im desperate for it. As i’m sure you all know apple has erased it from their site, and I cannot continue with an edit on my own computer until I find it. I have searched high and low to no avail! I will be eternally grateful…
Also if anyone knows where I can get OS x 10.4 that would be grand…PLEASE PLEASE people -

What version are you on? If you on 5.1.x and run software update it should show the 5.1.4 update for you. Then you can just download and install.

i have run into the same problem. it looks like apple removed versions 5.1.2 – 5.1.4 from their servers. and i cant find an update anywhere else.
i have quite a number of unfinished edits on version 5.1.4 and it will not let me open them and i cant update since my reinstall.

I have the same problem, I REALLY NEED to update to FCP 5.1.4! Right now I have 5.1. I tried running software update but it says there was an error while trying to install the update. I suspect because Apple removed the update from their site maybe? Is there ANY other way I can download the update from somewhere else? Or will anyone email it to me?

I have the 5.1.2 update. If you’d like, I can upload it to you if you have a FTP.

Could I open files that were saved on a 5.1.4 version with that?
I don’t have an http://FTP.. Maybe I can find out how to set one up.
