Playout Software?
I’m researching a purchase of playout software for our AJA LHi / LHe cards. We’ve had some minor issues with the AJA software and some major issues with untrained personel. We’re only playing out one channel at a time for live events. I’m hoping to find something to help us automate/remote control it — something where we can create a play list and make it real simple and bulletproof to playout, maybe even with control from our Ross switcher.
So far I’ve looked at:
Building 4 Media – FORK Production Suite – Very nice, but you pay for what you get. Long term I’d like to get this, but I’ve got a short term need and I’m not sure if I can open the budget that wide.
ToolsOnAir – Slightly less nice, but significantly cheaper.Any other suggestions, or personal experience?
