Playout Problem with CS5
I just switched over to CS5 Production from CS4 and all is good except when I go to playout. I normally go firewire out into an XDCam R1 deck. With CS5 the deck reports a lost of sync between the player and the recorder. It happens several times in a five minute recording.
I am running Windows 7 Professional on a new Toshiba Qosmio with an i7 chip and 8 gig of memory. It has a NVIDIA GeForce® GTS 360M video card.
The video is NTSC SD 16:9…nothing fancy but for some reason it is causing a sync error in the deck.
Any help will be much appreciated. -

I just figured out the problem. It was an E-Sata drive which for some reason Windows 7 doesn’t like.
