I’m trying to make a little movie with premiere pro & after effect.

I want to make falsh with the beats of the music but in after effect i can’t listen the audio ( wav or mp3 ) & when i render ( finalise, rendu ) the movie i haven’t sound.

Is that possible to listen music while u are making the efects ?
and how do i do to have the music in render ( rendu in french ) ?

    thx

    yo

in your final render settings…you need to click the audio on
so steps to render would be
    composition/make movie
then in the render queue, where it says lossless, click that
    the output module settings
at the bottom, click the audio output box.

and for lineing stuff up in the comp..you can do ram previews which will play with audio.

or you can scrub the timeline while holdin ctrl

    hope that helps

    Hi Aki

you need to use AIF audio in after effects. Also if you want to have audio in your output file then you need to enable the Audio in your output module before rendering

The good ole wav will do as well.
If you preview your animation, use the 0 (null) on the numeric keyboard, instead of the spacebar.

You can use almost any sound format you’d like. AIF is probably one of the more efficient, but .wav or .mp3 (for example) will work just fine.

What you need to do is hit “0” on the numeric keypad to RAM preview it. After Effects will run through, and temporarily “render” it out to your RAM. Once it has done that, it will play back at real-time, playing the Audio you have inserted

As far as rendering/exporting it out, in the Render Queue window, click on the word “Lossless.” It will pull up a window that has some adition settings. If you look at the bottom, you will see that the Audio box is unchecked. Simply check it, and hit OK.

Then render that puppy out. You’ll have your audio. Good luck.

Using MP3s in AE is asking for trouble in the form of clicks, pops and/or strange audio behaviour.

Use QT Player to export MP3s to AIFF or WAV. Next, import the AIFF or WAV into AE.
