Playing native EX1 files on Playstation 3?
I’ve been searching the forums and found several threads on how to do this but I can’t seem to get it to work…
I’ve tried changing the extension from .MP4 to .ts, .m2ts, and. m2t (both upper and lower case) – putting the newly named file on a 4 gig HP USB stick as well as a SanDisk 16gig SDHC card with USB reader (both with tries at root level and the BPAV folder structure) and sometimes I can see the file (depending on what the extension is/folder structure) but when I try to play it I get “file is corrupted” or “file not supported” or “there are no titles” type prompts.
When I change the file extension to .ts it will play with VLC Player on my MacBook Pro…
Software version on the PS3 is 2.17…
Anybody have detailed info on how to accomplish this?
Thanks
