Playing MJPEG?
My camcorder can also take stills onto an SD card. While trying out this feature I accidentally told it to record video onto the card. Just to see what it was like I clicked on the clip once everything have been transferred to my PC. The video in MJEPEG played in Windows media player OK. When I tried to play the clip in Vegas 5 by clicking on it, only the audio opened. Is that normal or does one need some codec first so that it will play?

Yes you do need the mjpeg codec for Vegas to play it.
This link is to a free one. Have not tested it. You could give it a try. Or you could do a search for others.
