• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  playing Matrox AVI in FC

  I had a client send me a drive with files captured through Premiere in the Matrox AVI codec. I was wondering if there was anyway to convert them to work with FC. I could not open them in final cut or compressor, and in quicktime pro they will not play video and the audio sounds wrong. I know its a codec issue, but I wasn’t sure where I could get codecs that would fix this as I don’t own any matrox gear myself. I have the latest version of final cut and after effects.
