  Playing low quality from HD

  I was recently doing some work, in HD some parts of the timeline was renderd others wasn’t the sound guy wanted to a rough low quality pict to do a rough mix, So I went to render the
  timeline and it came up 24mins, (the programme was 24mins as well) the soundman said he coudn’t wait 24min to render then 24min to play back on to tape, So he asked If I could play the time line in low res and record it to tape at the same time, So I ticked the Low res option at the begining of the time line, turned of Safe RT Played the timeline in low res but every time
  I played back I kept on getting the drop frame error, I lowerd the RT audio track but still kept dropping frames on playback any suggestions
