Playing 60p in a 24p Sequence
I shot two types of footage on my Canon t3i this weekend: 1920 x 1080 at 24p, and 1280 x 720 at 60p.
I want BOTH types of footage in the final product. Right now, the 60p footage plays like 60p in a 60p sequence (smooth, “real”, etc.), and the 24p plays like 24p in a 24p sequence (unhurried, cinematic); the problem is that when I drop the 60p footage in the 24p sequence, it doesn’t play like 60p, it plays like 24p.
Premiere Pro isn’t letting me use the ‘interpret footage’ command on the 60p footage once it’s in the sequence, but it IS recognizing the 60p frame rate while it’s still in the bin.
How do I get both types of footage to play in the distinct frame rates that I shot them in while being in a uniform sequence?
PS: I’m not looking for slow motion.
