    Playback stops after 1-2 seconds

    All,

    I have clips that I have imported into a new project in Premier Pro CS6, however, every time that I go to play the clip in the source monitor it will play for 1-2 seconds and then stop automatically. The resolution is great, the audio matches and sounds perfect, but the clip just stops playing. If I bring the clips into the timeline as a sequence, the playback does the same thing (the line is yellow, not red so Premier says it should play in real time). I even rendered the clip in the sequence and got the same result. I exported the clip from the timeline and it played perfect (no stopping) for its entire duration.

    I have 4 iMacs in my classroom and the same issue occurs on all of them. This problem does not happen at all on my personal MacBook Pro.

    Again, I will click play to start the clip and it will begin fine but then after a second or two it will just stop playing as if I clicked the stop button. Can anyone help me? It has brought my classes to a stand still.
