Playback problems in .MOV
Why is it that Premiere Pro CS6 is having difficulty in playing(when pressing space) the vids/clips from my Nikon D5200? Is there anything I should change in the PP settings?
It is playing normally with the vids on my GoPro Hero 4 Session with .MP4 files.
Also, it’s a reverse thing in Vegas Pro 13. The .MOV is not lagging when playing back while .MP4 is struggling to play.

Change extention to .mpg to avoid the 64-bit Premiere Pro to use the 32-bit QuickTime bridge application that Adobe wrote to address these files.
