    Hey all,
I just burned a DVD with a menu system I made with After Effects and a few pieces of content I made as well. The DVD says it burns fine and plays on my computer fine, but refuses to play in any of the three DVD players in my house. I’m burning on DVD+R, 16:9. I have played burned DVDs on the players I’m using, so it shouldn’t be an issue there, maybe something is set wrong in my menu? Any suggestions? Thanks!

    1. What brand of blank media? Don’t use cheap brands like Memorex or Ritek. Use Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or TDK. And even TDK sometimes turns up with a bad batch.

    2. What burn speed? I recommend never burning at more than half the blank media’s rated speed.

    3. How full is the disc? Some hardware DVD players will choke on very full burned discs. Bad media exacerbates the situation.
