Playback problem
Hellooo
Im sure this is me just being very thick:
my PC crashed and i had to install everything again. Installed Media composer, plus quicktime and a few other bits and bobs, and cannot seem to get media composer to play anything. I dragged some clips to the timeline and when i hit play i hear the audio but the monitor is blank. When i just click on the time line i can see the frame, but as soon as i hit play it goes blank (no flash ). the graphics card is installed as are all the other drivers.

Sounds like you have a window or bin sitting on your playback window. Make sure you move all the windows off the monitors. If you’ve reloaded your software, I’d bet you’ve got your timeline resized, and it’s on one or both of your monitors.
