    Hello all,

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?

I have a sequence playing back and clients are watching on my broadcast monitor. One of my collegues in the next room has a quick question for me and instant messages me with MSN messenger. The message displays on the taskbar, blinking and ready for me to read it. If I click on the MSN message to read it, Premiere Pro playback stops.

I have noticed in general, clicking on any other item or application while Premiere is playing back a sequence, it will stop. I used to just live with this, but I would like to get sn explanation as to why this happens. Any ideas?

BTW…I think it is an Adobe issue, every machine I ever used Premiere Pro on, had this problem.

    Thanks
    Ray

The behavior is normal. Most of us would be concentrating on either the client or the video. I can see how the under 25 generation who text messages and drives at the same time might want Premiere to play on, so suggest you make a feature suggestion with Adobe for a new Preference option.
