Playback Issue DaVinci Resolve 12.5
Hello,
I am kind of new to DaVinci. I’m having an issue during playback in DaVinci 12.5 on my PC. I shot the footage with the Ursa Mini 4.6 ProRes 422.
The playback is extremely choppy and it gets a strange grid artifacting that comes over the image. However, the footage plays back perfectly in Adobe Premiere.I have tried optimizing the media and changing the cache settings. Nothing has worked. My PC is brand new and extremely powerful so I don’t think PC power is the issue.
Any solution to this would be greatly appreciated!
P.S. I would screenshot it but when I do the grid like pattern over it seems to disappear.

What processors are you running? What graphics card? Resolve mainly uses the GPU more than the CPU, so a 4GB GPU card is really bare minimum for Resolve. Well, you can get by with a 2.0GB card for ProRes, but anything else needs more. And where is this footage stored? What drive connected how?

Actually for 4k frame sizes 8gig of RAM is recommended.

I had the Titan X and now the 1080 and looking at the new Titan X. Something I read about 4k frame buffers working best with 8gig + GPU RAM

The GPU ram does not accumulate. So u need more GPU ram in each card for 4K
