Playback-Audio not in Sync
This is regarding using the Ki pro as a playback device only. Audio does not sync up or stutters when a video starts. Happens sporadically and it isn’t a smooth playback. Anyone had an issue with this?

What is the source of the video? Is this something you exported from an NLE? Please give a bit more info on how the file got on the Ki.

Sure. File was exported in FC as a ProRes with a dual mono 48khz 24 bit audio track. It was a final piece. File was then placed on the media drive.

And how are you monitoring? What format/frame rate? Give me the whole picture.
What firmware?

Firmware is 2.0 (the latest form AJA site) monitoring through both headphones as well as through a meyer system, via XLR to a DM1000 board. Format is ProRes frame rate 29.97. These are pieces that we have produced and are using the box as a playback engine.

You have reformatted the hard drive since installing the v2.0 software, right?
If yes, perhaps it’s time to call AJA.
