  play mjpg files

  dear creative crowd

  i’m trying to play large mjpg files (captured from a web cam, .mjpg file ending) for an exhibition on several macs. the easiest for me would be to use quicktime 7 without having to transcode everything.

  as far the mjpg-files only play on vcl and mplayer.

  is there a codec i can put into the quicktime library to make it possible to play them in qt? i tried with perian on os 10.8. and 10.6. no success…
