Play audio and layer at the same time
Hey im very new to AE and im wondering how the hell i can watch my animations and audio at the same time!?
I have figured out how to be able to listen to a preview of my audio (finally) but i can’t play my layer effects at the same time as the audio.
How can i do this without having to render the video, how can you work with AF like this. See what if i want to add a sound effect at a certain time in my layer effects, such as text flying across the screen or something and play them both at the same time so i can match them up perfectly?

In the Composition menu, go to “Preview” and check “Audio”.
Note I’m still on CS2 so the option may have moved in CS3 or CS4, but its probably close by, if not the same, and probably still called the same thing.
