    Hello,

My company has recently switched from Windows based machines that were running premiere pro 1.5. and switched over to apple systems with Final Cut Studio 2, but we bought the CS3 master collection to have premiere available because we often need to revisit a clients project, but when trying to open an old project it an error occurs.

Is this something that is common? Why would Adobe want to prevent older projects from being updated?

    thanks,

You need to have someone convert the ppro project file from 1.5 to CS3 on a windows machine then you will be able to open it on a MAC CS3 machine but – I suggest you use boot camp on Mac and load windows xp and install you ppro1.5 there so you don’t have this problem in a time crunch situation.

    – I hope adobe fixes this issue in cs4

the real fun begins when the program loads
