Is there a way to place or create (text, shape etc) an object at a precise location on the timeline? Every time I add or create a new object, it starts from the beginning of the timeline. I hope my question is clear enough.

    Thanks.

p.s. I have tried searching Google and this forum without much success.

I don’t know if this is very related but, I’m having the same problem with masks. Whenever I place a mask in a layer it appears throughout the ENTIRE layer instead of where the CTI is. How can I specify a certain location for the mask to appear in and a specific location for it to disappear in. Thanks
