Placing elements on the Timeline
In AE 6.5 and earlier “CTRL /” would place the element on the Timeline where the curser was sitting. Now in AE 7 “CTRL +/” always places the elemtent at the beginning of the Timeline. I much prefer the old method. Any solutions?

There’s a setting for this in the preferences. The difference between 6.5 and 7.0 is that it is turned on by default in 7.0
In Preferences > General, uncheck the “Create Layers at Composition Start Time” option.
